Organised by the European
Advertising Standards Alliance, Advertising: We Care! is a half-day
event to celebrate 20 years of self-regulation across Europe under their leadership. Focusing on the critical
role of responsible advertising in empowering consumer choice as well as its
effect on economic growth, the event will feature panel discussions on sectors
such as cosmetics, alcohol and food, and a keynote performance from Commissioner
John Dalli.
EASA is the single
authoritative voice on advertising self-regulation issues and promotes high
ethical standards in commercial communications by means of effective
self-regulation, while being mindful of national differences of culture, legal
and commercial practice.
