Intern Testimonies

Leila Siddiqi, Public Relations Intern

"The AA is a great place to start learning about what it's like to work within a small but often very busy press office. My role includes helping manage the press office, record press coverage, distribute press releases, managing website content and liaising with our PR agency. The opportunities to network are many and varied, from internal events to those hosted by our members and our PR agency. It is a  supportive place where good work is appreciated and interns are very much a part of the team."

Nicholas Randel, Public Affairs Intern

"The AA is a great place to get a feel for Public Affairs. Working with a small and dedicated team, you have the opportunity to get involved in a wide-range of projects and gain valuable experience."

Abigail Ward, Commercial Networks Intern

"Being an intern at the AA is a great way to get to know the advertising industry.  During my time here, I have gained exposure to client meetings and networking events as well as the opportunity to contribute to events planning, creating marketing materials and new business development.

Good tea making skills don’t go amiss but alongside that requirement is a chance to take ownership of projects and contribute ideas in a supportive and fast-paced office. Best of all, you are encouraged to sculpt the internship to incorporate skills to enhance your future employability."
