The Advertising Association and News UK bring you the fiercest of debates between adland’s brightest new talent returning to Advertising Week Europe’s Picturehouse stage for another year running.
This year, four rising stars from agencies, brands and media pitched what they think is “the best way to regain public trust in advertising”…
Meet our speakers, and watch the full debate below.

With over twelve years experience, she has been working on the bridge between content and traditional advertising in order to help brands achieve their business goals. She attacks things with a strong strategic mindset, coupled with a great sense of fun and a fiery personality.
BENJI INWOOD, Diageo
Benji Inwood is Diageo’s Sponsorship Manager for Europe, looking after a portfolio of partnerships including English, Welsh and Scottish Rugby, the Guinness PRO12, RBS 6 Nations, Cheltenham Festival and a suite of music festivals across the summer. He has – as you might expect – a healthy interest in sport and music, and a less healthy interest in politics and television. Before taking the best job in the world, Benji worked for Diageo’s Corporate Relations team, after a stint representing the interests of the advertising industry with the, ahem, Advertising Association.
MILLA MCPHEE, adam&eveDDB
Milla is a Strategy Director at adam&eveDDB in London, responsible for keeping Harvey Nichols unexpected, growing Mars Petcare in the U.S, wrangling Lipton’s Global presence, and some new business too. She previously worked at Droga5 New York, and remains a regular panellist one of Australia’s most popular TV shows (which happens to be about advertising), ‘Gruen.’
DAVID AARONOVITCH, The Times
Returning to host Last One Standing is award-winning award-winning journalist and broadcaster, David Aaronovitch. He is a regular Times columnist and a commentator on politics, international affairs and the media. Having begun his career at the BBC, he has since researched, produced, written, edited and presented TV and radio programmes across the network. He has been chief leader for the Independent and was once president of the NUS.
