Last One Standing returned on Wednesday 23rd September for its fifth edition, this time in partnership with Google.

Four of advertising’s rising stars responded to the challenge “The AA’s job is to promote responsible advertising. What would you do to change advertising for the better?” Only one survived as the audience voted for the Last One Standing.

Sam Delaney
Journalist, broadcaster and author

Sam is a regular presenter on talkSPORT and BBC London and pops up as a pundit on the Today programme on Radio 4 and Channel 4 News. His journalism appears in The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Observer, The Big Issue, Grazia, New Humanist and the NME.

The Stars:

Paddy Collins,
Industry Manager, Google

Paddy joined Google almost two years ago, following an eight-year stint at the Financial Times as Head of Strategic Sales. He now works in the UK Agency Team as an Industry Manager, helping the strategists and planners across Publicis work with YouTube and develop a clearer idea of how the various parts of Google can work together.

James Dawkins
Planner, DLKW Lowe

James is coming into his third year at DLKW Lowe after stints at Havas Worldwide and McCann Erickson (Manchester).  He has worked on brands including the British Heart Foundation, Aldi, Reckitt Benckiser, Durex, Holiday Inn, Morrisons and the Post Office. He believes that advertising and communications have the power to shape culture and society, and have a responsibility to shape it in the right way.

Kitty Jansz-Moore
Research Manager, MediaCom UK

Kitty is a Research Manager in the MediaCom Real World Insight team, working on quantitative projects across a range of clients and sectors. Her research background has been built through roles in media and communications agencies, and responsibility in advertising is a topic that she has discussed both inside of work and out of it.

Hannah Stenton
Group Brand, Aviva

Hannah Stenton joined Aviva in 2013 on the marketing graduate scheme. She has worked in Life Direct marketing as an Online Marketing Consultant and in Future Propositions, leading on Aviva’s wearable technology and telematics campaign. Now, Hannah works in Group Brand and is delivering a new global brand strategy as well as everyday governance and education of Aviva’s brand across the global markets.
