The Baroness Peta Buscombe - Chief Executive
Baroness Peta Buscombe became Chief Executive of the Advertising Association in January 2007. She has stated that she is determined to use her role to make the positive case for advertising, one of the key creative industries.
She is a member of the House of Lords, a public company director, and an experienced international lawyer. She is currently a non-executive director of Three Valleys Water plc and Chairman of Briefbox Ltd (a web-based legal services company). She has held a number of positions as Conservative Party Spokesman including Culture, Media and Sport, Education and Skills, Home Affairs and Legal Affairs.

Sue Eustace, Director of Public Affairs
Sue Eustace joined the Advertising Association as Head of UK Public Affairs in September 2003. In November 2006, she became Director of Public Affairs, responsible for European as well as UK public affairs issues, including the AA’s Food Advertising Unit, directly reporting to the Chief Executive. For the last 3 years, Sue has been closely involved with the work of the AA’s Food Advertising Unit, which provides a common cause voice across the industry on food advertising to children and has food companies, agencies, and media in membership. Before joining the AA, Sue ran her own consultancy from 2000-2003, prior to which she was Controller of Corporate Affairs at the ITV Network.

Jim Rothwell joined the AA in January 2001. Prior to that he spent two and a half years in public affairs for the food sector.

Cristina Dominguez was appointed Public Affairs Executive in April 2007. She is experienced in advertising issues, having joined the AA as Public Affairs Secretary in June 2004 and subsequently promoted to Policy Assistant for Public Affairs in September 2005, in which role she also designed and managed the Members Section of the AA website.

Jonathan Collett was formerly Public Affairs Manager at News International, Press Spokesman for Michael Howard, when he was Leader of the Conservative Party and Director of the Bruges Group.
He has substantial experience in public relations, political communications and media handling.
