The Advertising Association is a federation of trade bodies and organisations representing the advertising and promotional marketing industries including advertisers, agencies, media and support services.
It is the only body that speaks for all sides of an industry worth over £19 billion in 2007.

Responding to the publication of the Public Health Commission report, Advertising Association Chief Operating Officer Rae Burdon said
“There is much to welcome in today’s Report published by the Public Health Commission. As the Report recommends, partnership between Government, business and the Third Sector could bring significant and sustainable improvements to the nation's health. Last year the Advertising Association founded business4Life; a coalition of companies representing the food and drink, retail, media, advertising, fitness and health industries, which are partnering with Government to support its Change4Life movement. It is very encouraging that the Public Health Commission is so supportive of the Change4life movement.”
