Advertising Association LEAD 2018 Summit

The agenda

LEAD 2019 will provide a forum to explore the tripartite issues of Trust, Trade and Transformation.

We are assembling a stellar line-up of key figures from the political world as well as leading opinion formers and decision-makers from right across the ad industry. There will also be voices from outside the industry to give an alternative perspective on the crucial issues of the day.

Trust – The ad industry is seeking to rebuild public trust and favourability following a period of decline. What will help the public trust advertising again?

Trade – The UK ad industry is set to face some significant challenges over the coming years. What will be the effects of Brexit and what are the implications for trade, talent and the UK’s position as a world business leader?
Transformation – Transforming the face of UK advertising – what is the industry doing to develop and retain homegrown, diverse, talent, in order for us to remain a leading centre for advertising in a digital age?

“LEAD is a unique event where UK advertisers, business leaders and politicians come together as a united force to discuss the issues of the day and the future of advertising. By engaging and collaborating on the upcoming challenges and opportunities of the year ahead, we can collectively build trust and make a positive impact for the industry and society. A great event to attend if you want to understand and contribute to advertising’s future prosperity.”

Keith Weed, CMCO, Unilever and President, Advertising Association

“The Advertising Association is important not only because it promotes the value of what we do, but also because it creates the space through events like LEAD – for us to put aside competitive instincts (briefly) and ensure that the currency we all trade in remains strong.”

Martin Sorrell, CEO, S4 Capital
