Our first UK Advertising Export Group (UKAEG) gathering of the year took place recently at the AA offices where we welcomed more than 40 representatives from the first tranche of companies joining our new Export Group which is backed by the Advertising Producers Association (APA), the Data & Marketing Association (DMA), the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA), London&Partners as well as the Department for International Trade and the Creative Industries Council.
Plans discussed included the upcoming Export Month in March which includes the release of our annual Exports Report, our trade mission to SXSW and our work during Advertising Week Europe. In the same month, we will also be running our UK Young Lions 2020 competition, holding our annual Parliamentary Reception and showcasing our new members as part of the Exporting Is GREAT campaign.
