The Advertising Association’s yearly industry summit, LEAD, is back for its 8th year, taking place on 30 January 2019 at King’s Place in London.
Join your peers from across advertising for this half-day session to hear from leading speakers such AA President Keith Weed, and AA Front Foot Chair, Mark Evans, who will give their views on the issues that matter to the industry.
The LEAD 2019 agenda will examine three key issues in advertising – Trust, Trade, and Transformation.
The Advertising Association is now in place as the UK representative for the world’s biggest festival of creativity, Cannes Lions.
The decision to take on this role has come as we approach Brexit – how we showcase UK advertising on the world stage in the coming years will be central to our future success. This initiative is underway in partnership with the Department of International Trade which has committed funding in return for matched effort from our industry to present our very best front at Cannes next summer.
So, we are busy working with our industry partners on how we can really help UK advertising stand out at next year’s festival.

Hosted by an AA member, the President’s Reception brings together industry leaders to hear the AA President set out their agenda for advertising ahead of the coming year.
Our annual House of Commons Reception brings advertising’s leaders and key politicians together to celebrate advertising’s success stories, all on one terrace. Hosted by a select Parliamentarian each year, it’s also an opportunity for policy-makers to meet business leaders from agencies, brands and media owners, to understand the opportunities that UK advertising offers and the support the sector needs to grow its contribution.
